Introducing our new pricing plans for Tability
We recently introduced a new pricing model (with a Free plan!) to give our customers more flexibility with the seats and features they need.
This is a short post that explains the changes, and what will happen to your current subscription if you're not already on the new pricing model.
How to check if you're on the new pricing model?
A simple way to check if you're workspace has the new pricing model is to go to the billing section of your workspace.
You're on the new pricing model if the options available for upgrade look like this 👇
If this is what you're seeing, then you can stop reading this post! You're already on the new pricing model.
If that's not what you're seeing, then you're on a legacy pricing model. Read below to understand more about the changes.
What's happening next
Scenario A: you are on a legacy paid subscription 👉  you can remain on your current subscription!
Rest assured—you do not need to migrate if you already have a paid subscription!
These new pricing plans are only applied to newly created workspaces, and you are free to stay on your existing subscription.
It is important to note, however, that upgrades will be locked on June 1st, 2023 unless it is to one of the new subscription plans listed at https://www.tability.io/pricing .
Scenario B: you're on a legacy pricing model, but you don't have a paid subscription 👉 your workspace will be migrated to a trial of the new pricing model on June 1st, 2023
Workspaces that do not have a paid subscription will automatically be migrated to the new pricing model on June 1st, 2023.
You will then be able to upgrade to one of the new subscriptions listed at https://www.tability.io/pricing.
You will not be charged as a result of the migration on June 1st, 2023 (you'll be on a usage-based trial).
Scenario C: you're on a legacy pricing model, and you want to migrate to the new pricing model today 👉 contact our team!
You don't have to wait for June 1st, 2023 to migrate!

We'll be happy to work with you to find the best subscription plan for your workspace.
Why we're changing our pricing model
After talking to many customers, it was clear the purchasing experience did not match our customer needs. Customers wanted more flexibility and access to advanced features at a more reasonable price.
That's why we've moved away from our packaged pricing model to now offer a per-seat pricing model that has 4 tiers:
- Free for 5 users: a trimmed-down version of Tability that gives small teams the essentials to track their goals.
- Basic at $4/seat/month: all the core goal-tracking and goal-setting features.
- Plus at $5/seat/month: check-ins API and additional features to manage large teams and standups.
- Premium at $8/seat/month: advanced access controls and data source integrations.
This change may result in an increase in cost for some customers, but our team is ready to work with you to find a fair migration path should you want to migrate.
What are the benefits of migrating to the new pricing?
All the features that you can currently use will remain the same if you stay on your current pricing plan.
But, some of the new features we're building (data source integrations, AI-integration, people-based strategy map...) will only be available to customers on the new pricing plans.
